Frawley Ranch Photography Workshop

October 3, 2015 from 2-7pm

Workshop description:

An exceptional opportunity to advance your photographic skills and to enjoy one of the outstanding Historical Homestead Sites in South Dakota.

Here is a workshop for the beginner and advanced photographer. We will be working on portrait, architectural and available light photography. We will be utilizing the settings, backdrops and props of the Upper Frawley Ranch location that has been designated as a Historical Homestead in South Dakota.

CLASS OUTLINE:

OUTSTANDING PORTRAITS -- Here is an opportunity to learn the tips and tricks to shoot portraits like a pro. We will have a model on site or better yet, bring your own to take those terrific photos for the year book or to put up on the wall

ARCHITECTURAL PHOTOS -- The old barns and buildings at the Frawley Ranch provide a wide selection of old yet well preserved buildings of weathered wood and stone. The use of shadows and depth of field will provide an opportunity for you to perfect your photos to have a dynamic impact.

AVAILABLE LIGHT PHOTOGRAPHY --Great pointers on how to shoot still life shots of the interior of the barns with their vast selection of carriages, wagons and antique farm equipment and household items or to improve your portrait photography. Learn how to use available light to the maximum and then improve it even more with the use of a fill or bounce flash. This will be an afternoon to remember. Here is a perfect opportunity to work one-on-one with other photographers who are very good at what they do. What a great way to spend an afternoon.
